Shut The Front Dior

Christian Dior Fall 2014 RTW Paris

If you have been an avid follower of Fashion Friande for some time, you will know only too well that Christian Dior is always at the top of my list of designer favourites and their recent Paris show proves why.

Bold brights sauntered down the runway in an array of ensembles that challenged the norms of a typical Autumn offering. Expertly layered asymmetrical dresses, flouncy peplums, tailored coats, slender pants, and executive style jackets were on show amid updated references to Dior’s old world charm and fiercely feminine ‘New Look’ silhouette.

Creative Director Raf Simons seamlessly marries romance and realness, a winning formula we have seen in previous seasons, resulting in a prêt-à-porter collection that is equal parts whimsy and wearable.

There is very little (if anything) not to LOVE about this latest Dior offering.

Quite simply… J’adore Dior!
